Gordon Ramsay Cook With Me app for iPhone and iPad
Have you ever wanted to cook with Gordon Ramsay in the comfort of your own kitchen? Since the launch of Gordon’s easy to use cooking application, Cook With Me, people all over the world have been enjoying doing just that.
There are 56 high resolution recipe videos included with the app, showing Gordon cooking the dish to give you the confidence to cook it yourself. And now there are 8 free text recipes plus the option to purchase two bundles of 20 text recipes, taking the total number of recipes on the app up to 104. The individual recipe pages have all the information you need to get cooking, and the recipes are detailed and clear so that you know exactly what to do to create wonderful dishes every time.
The recipes can be filtered by difficulty, season, ingredient or by how much time you have to cook. If you’re in a hurry you could cook some simple and delicious Lamb Kebabs, or if you have more time and want more wow factor, why not try the classic Beef Wellington?
There are also ten video tips from Gordon, showing you how to do things like chop an onion quickly and safely, or make your own mayonnaise. And of course there’s an interactive shopping list. Plus you can compare your version of the dish with Gordon’s.
The updated app includes recipes from Gordon’s latest book and TV series “Gordon Ramsay’s Ultimate Cookery Course”, which is packed with wonderful dishes designed to give every home cook the desire, confidence and inspiration to hit the stoves and get cooking, with modern, simple and accessible recipes.
Gordon sums up what his Ultimate Cookery Course is all about: "I want to teach you how to cook good food at home. By stripping away all the hard graft and complexity, anyone can produce mouth-watering recipes. Put simply, Im going to show you how to cook yourself into a better cook."
Why cook with anyone else?
Pros and cons of Gordon Ramsay Cook With Me app for iPhone and iPad
Gordon Ramsay Cook With Me app good for
The best food app Ive seen!! Simple, well organized, and easy to follow. The videos are fast enough that revisiting them during cooking is not a problem and yet detailed enough that u wont get lost. All around great app ^_^....
....Oh ya, the food is amazing too XD
Such a well designed app! Everything works beautifully and a definite must get for any foodie! I hope there will be many more recipes added as time goes by! Definitely get this one :-)
User friendly app, creative index, videos are great and all worked on my 4G iPod. Well done just want MORE recipes yum!
This app is near perfect. At first I was wondering about the breakfast/lunch/dinner categories but then I realised that the dishes can fall into multiple categories. eg The hot bananas can be for breakfast or desert.
The recipes can be displayed in either Metric or US Imperial.
I love the pace of the videos, its quick, stylish and allows you to get an idea of the main steps and technique. I dont need to see how long it takes for water to boil. If you need to slow down just go to the "cook" section and each step is there in more detail.
My one criticism is that there should be a favourites section to store and quickly refer to the best recipes. Hopefully theyll include that in an update.
My personal opinon. Perfect for intermediate skill level.
Love the videos and the recipes! I have tried a couple of them and they are absolutely delicious! Some of the ingredients might be a bit expensive though, but you could always find a substitute. Expecting to see some more great Apps from Mr. Gordon Ramsay! Love it!
Im very please with this apps GREAT VALUE. Gordon Ramsay is a Great chef and teacher.
Only missing for me is having all menu and ingrediants in french.
Some bad moments
Uploaded takes ages and i have no sound to the videos although i hv re-loaded the 3rd time!
I wonder what would Chef Ramsey say about his own app having videos not working on release... Was looking forward to learning some techniques but videos crash my 3G phone...
Found the collection of recipes a bit dull. This is iPhone modern matters. Nothing whimsical or playful or overly beautiful. Oh and my email feedback failed to route. Love that. Updates to recipes should be made, otherwise its too expensive as an iPhone app. Live the idea of it though, video walkthrough is a great idea for novices. I am not a novice and would like more recipes.
Come on Gordon :). So bummed you didnt do chef challenge for a cure in Toronto this past nov. I was the cracked rib girl. Didnt partake this past year bobby flay. Mmm no.
Not impressed, to say the least. I would have certainly expected that for (a moderately) expensive app such as this, there would be a better selection of recipes! Sure, the video segments are well done...perhaps thats the problem...Gordons gotten too used to tv and forgotten the importance of the recipe! You insult us Gordon with this muddle of weak and uninspiring recipes.
P.S. - does this app ever even get updated? Because the email address here is no longer active. Take the money and run seems to be the theme here...and there.
Said app is only 698mb however wont download. Is all info up to date? I have way more available storage than that. Garbage
Total waste of money. Says I dont have enough storage when in reality I have loads of storage.
